SoccerView is operated by SportsView LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), a Kansas limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the SoccerView mobile application ("App"), how we use it, and your choices.

Information We Collect

SoccerView is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information and do not require user accounts or login.

Automatically Collected

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated anonymous identifier (UUID) stored locally on your device. This is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any personal information. It is used solely to associate feedback submissions with a device.
• Crash Reports and Diagnostics: We use Sentry to collect crash reports, error logs, and limited session replay data when errors occur. This includes device type, operating system version, app version, and stack traces. Session replays capture app screen interactions (not camera, microphone, or personal content) to help us diagnose bugs.
• Basic Device Information: Device type and operating system version for compatibility purposes.

Voluntarily Provided

• Feedback and Ratings: If you choose to submit feedback or a satisfaction rating through the App, we collect your rating (1-5), optional text comments, and your anonymous device identifier. Feedback may include metadata about the team or feature you were viewing when submitting.
• Favorites: Teams you mark as favorites are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal identification information (name, email, phone number, or address)
• We do not collect location data or GPS coordinates
• We do not require account creation or login to use the App
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes

Subscriptions and Payment Data

If you purchase a SoccerView Pro subscription, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details. We receive only a confirmation that a valid subscription exists for your account.

Data Sources

The soccer team rankings, match results, league standings, and statistics displayed in SoccerView are compiled from publicly available sources across multiple platforms. This data pertains to youth soccer clubs and their publicly reported match results. No individual player data is collected or displayed.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Sentry (sentry.io): Crash reporting, error tracking, and limited session replay for error diagnosis. Sentry's privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy.
• Expo (expo.dev): App framework and over-the-air updates. Expo's privacy policy is available at expo.dev/privacy.
• Supabase (supabase.com): Backend database service for sports data. No personal user data is stored in our database.
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Subscription management (when Pro tier is active). Processes subscription status only; does not receive payment details. Privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Feedback submissions are retained for the purpose of improving the App. Crash reports are retained by Sentry according to their data retention policies. You may request deletion of any feedback you have submitted by contacting us.

Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

SoccerView displays publicly available information about youth soccer teams (team names, match scores, league standings). We do not collect, display, or store personal information about individual players, including minors. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Your Rights

You may:

• Request information about what data we have associated with your device identifier
• Request deletion of feedback submissions or other data associated with your device
• Clear your local favorites and device identifier by uninstalling and reinstalling the App

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
