Welcome to SoccerView, operated by SportsView LLC ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), a Kansas limited liability company. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoccerView, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SoccerView provides youth soccer team rankings, ELO power ratings, league standings, match results, and related statistics. The App aggregates data from multiple sources and applies proprietary algorithms, including the SoccerView Power Rating (ELO-based), to calculate team rankings, grades, strength of schedule, and other computed metrics.

3. Proprietary Data and Intellectual Property

The following are proprietary to SportsView LLC and protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws:

• SoccerView Power Ratings (ELO-based ratings, grades, and rankings)
• Aggregated league standings compiled from multiple platforms
• Computed metrics including strength of schedule, win probability, team comparisons, and season projections
• The data pipeline, algorithms, and methods used to collect, process, normalize, and compute the above
• The App including its design, user interface, source code, and all content

Raw match scores and results originate from publicly available sources. However, the aggregation, normalization, cross-platform resolution, and computation applied to that data constitutes original work product of SportsView LLC.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree to use SoccerView only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You expressly may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the App or its associated services, whether by automated means (bots, spiders, scrapers) or manual bulk collection
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any data displayed in the App, including but not limited to rankings, ratings, standings, match results, or computed metrics, in any medium or format
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or attempt to derive source code, algorithms, or data structures
• Create derivative works based on the App or its data, including competing products or services
• Use the App's data to train machine learning models, build datasets, or feed automated systems
• Access the App's backend services (APIs, databases) directly or through any means other than the App itself
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality, servers, or networks
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your access and may subject you to legal action, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

SoccerView may offer a paid subscription tier ("SoccerView Pro") through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You may manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Prices may change; we will notify you in advance of any price increase

6. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate information, SoccerView makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data displayed. Rankings, ratings, and statistics are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

SoccerView is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SportsView LLC and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SportsView LLC regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
